Lorraine OCCHIONERO

OCCHIONERO, Lorraine Ann
Born Lorraine Talarico and commonly referred to as our Buzzie, on June 14, 1948 and passed away on November 9, 2012 after a long struggle with multiple organ disease. Lorraine is survived by her husband Carlo, daughter Angela, sister Linda, brother-in-law Richard Meier and her son-in-law Jean- François Rouleau. She is also survived by her many cousins, nieces and nephews, an extensive family and many friends who will miss her dearly. Life is a Beach. Those that were blessed to know Lorraine will recognize her motto. From her years volunteering at Angela's schools, to her years making sure Carlo's and Angela's lives were organized to her years of travel and vacations on the beach and finally to the years where she showed incredible strength and courage, Buzzie was and will remain a force to be reckoned with. She will live on in our hearts and memories. Visitation will be Monday, November 12, 2012 from 7 to 9 p.m. Tuesday, November 13, 2012 from 2 to 5 p.m. and 7 to 9 p.m. at the Collins Clarke McGillivray White Funeral Home, Dignity Memorial, 5610, Sherbrooke Ouest, Montreal. Her funeral service will be held at St-John-Brebeuf's parish, 7777, Georges St., Lasalle on Wednesday, November 14, 2012 at 10:30 a.m. In lieu of flowers, donations should be sent to the Royal Victoria Hospital Dialysis Unit who made the last few years as happy as possible. For those who have not yet signed their organ donation cards please do so in memory of Buzzie who lived in hope of receiving an organ which could have allowed her to continue her globetrotting.
