Our dear mother, Marjorie, passed away peacefully at the West Island Palliative Care Residence on March 21st with her family by her side. Marj was predeceased by Rod, her loving husband of 51 years. She will be greatly missed by her four children, Dennis, Marlynne Danaher, Brendan, and Cindy (Paul Bamatter). She was the cherished grandmother of 14 grandchildren, 20 great grandchildren and devoted aunt to her many nephews and nieces. Marj will always be remembered as one whose home was a welcoming gathering place for family and so many friends. Her many interests included bridge, the occasional romp into the casinos and of course her well known passionate loyalty to Les Canadiens. The family will receive relatives and friends at Collins Clarke MacGillivray White Funeral Home, 222 autoroute 20, Pointe-Claire, Quebec, H9S 3X6 (exit 49-Cartier Ave) on Monday, March 25 from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Celebration of Life Mass will take place at St. Edmund of Canterbury Church, 105 Beaconsfield Blvd., Beaconsfield on Tuesday, March 26 at 10:45 a.m. Interment will follow immediately at Ste. Anne de Bellevue Cemetery, 20825 Lakeshore Rd. in Baie D'Urfe.
