It is with deep sorrow that we announce the passing of Peter Nickoletopoulos (Panagiotis – Panos, son of Nikolaos, Born in Mouzaki Ilias Greece). He is survived by his wife of 45 years, Paulette, his 3 children, Pelagia, Nick (Paula) and John (Olga). Loving Grandfather of Yanni, Victoria, Maria-Paulette, Peter, Paulina, and Elysia. Also survived by his sister Irini (Theodoros), mother-in-law Marie-Paule Roy, sisters- in-law Giorgia, Evgenia, Helene (Renzo) and Suzy, nephew Nick (Aga), nieces Labrina (Panagiotis) and Pelagia, and son-in-law Louis Varoutsos. He will be sorely missed by many other relatives and friends. His beloved brothers Lambi and Denis await him. Peter Nickoletopoulos had a tremendous passion for hard work and great dedication to education. He was an amateur student of history, and politics, and had great passion for his home country Greece and the Greek language. Those closest to him will always remember his famous life lessons ("seminaria"). Peter will also be remembered for Olympic Box (1969 to 1981) and more recently Durabox Paper. Peter was a true believer in the goodness of humanity and was loved by many for this attribute. His memory and legacy will remain with his loved ones forever. The family would like to thank Dr. Martin Gyger, Dr. Joseph Portnoy and all the staff at the Jewish General Hospital. Visitation will be held on Tuesday, November 13 from 7-9 PM and on Wednesday, November 14 from 3-5 PM and 7-9 PM at Rideau Funeral Home (4275, boul. des Sources, Dollard-des-Ormeaux). The funeral service will be held on Thursday, November 15 at 11 AM at the Greek Orthodox Church of Saints Constantine and Helen (20, boul. Brunswick, Dollard-des-Ormeaux).
