Rose-Anne NASH

NASH, Rose-Anne (née Foyle)
B.A. (McGill 1948)
On New Year's Day 2013 our mother Rose passed from this earth peacefully in her 87th year at the Centre d'hébergement d'Ormstown. Pre-deceased in 2011 by her husband Leo of 62 years. Survived by sister May in Florida, sons Stephen (Linda) and Gordon (Margareta) and grandchildren Melanie, Julie, Amanda and Tim. Rose was always a lady seeking to find the best in everyone that she met. She enjoyed bridge and curling and her grandchildren for many years while she lived in Howick. The family wishes to express its gratitude to the nurses and staff of the Centre d'hébergement d'Ormstown and to Judy Tannahill who cared for Mom. These persons made it possible for Rose to live as full an existence as possible despite her long illness. In accordance with Mom's wishes, cremation has taken place. A memorial service to celebrate Rose's life will be held at a later date. Donations made in Rose's memory will be gratefully received by the Foundation for the Centre d'hébergement d'Ormstown, 65 Hector St., Ormstown, QC J0S 1K0.
