JAROWYJ, Angela (née Marchak)
1931 - 2013
It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Angela Jarowyj after a valiant struggle, peacefully, from various illnesses. Predeceased by her husband Maurice, parents Parania and Sam and survived by her loving son Michael and compassionate daughter-in-law Anna, beloved grandchildren Jennifer and Alexander. Loving aunt to numerous nieces and nephews. Angela attended the Grey Nun's secretarial college and worked for major Montreal companies. She was proud of her abilities to communicate in numerous languages, both written and spoken. As a young woman she sang with a band, loved to dance, enjoyed gardening, listening to opera and classical music. A foodie before her time, enjoyed cooking and entertaining. She helped her late mother raise funds to build the Holy Ghost Parish. She worked with her husband to establish a distribution business. She delighted in her grandchildren. Later in life, Angela enjoyed travelling. She always enjoyed a good exchange of ideas. She is now smiling down on all who loved her. Visitation at Yves Légaré (Alfred Dallaire), 7200 boul Newman, LaSalle, on Sunday, March 24 from 7-10 p.m. and Monday, March 25 from 2-5 p.m. and 7-9 p.m. Panachyda at 8 p.m. Funeral Service on March 26 at 9 a.m. at Ukrainian Catholic Holy Ghost Church, 1795 Grand Trunk St. corner Shearer, Montreal. Interment to follow at Notre Dame Des Neiges Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to The Children's Hospital or a charity of your choice. Vichnaya Pamyat.
