MICHOT, Bernard
On Sunday, March 31, 2013 in Perpignan, France, our very dear Bernard went to his final peace with his beloved Annie holding his hand as she had held his hand for more than fifty years. Bernard is survived by Annie, their daughter Fabienne (Doris) and their son Eric. Left to mourn are his very devoted friends and family members in Montreal and France, as well as his former students at West Hill and Royal West Academy. After serving in the French army and teaching in Paris, Bernard came to Montreal where he and Annie gave decades of dedicated teaching to the students of the PSBGM. Their life in Montreal was rich and satisfying , filled with world travel and a passion for music, art, literature and fine wine. After their retirement, they chose to return to France to be near family and old friends in the beautiful, historic city of Perpignan near the Pyrenees. The cremation will take place in Perpignan on Wednesday, April 3. In lieu of flowers, donations in Bernard's memory may be made to the Alzheimer Society.
