ANGERS SKERCZAK, Danièle Dorice (Doris Angers) 1935 - 2018 Passed away peacefully on March 12, 2018 after a lengthy and courageous battle with cancer. Predeceased by her parents Loretta LeClair and Roland Angers, her sister Marlene and her brothers Ronald, Arnold, Robert and George. She leaves to mourn her beloved husband William Anton Skerczak, her cherished daughter Penni Sicurella (James); her grandchildren Alessandra, Liborio and Anthony and her two sisters Denyse (Angé-Brebner) and Louise (Niemi) along with numerous nieces, nephews, in-laws and friends. Danièle's singing career originated in Quebec City and her accomplishments enabled her to travel the world doing what she loved for over 50 years. Danièle was also a very successful business woman having opened a dance and music hall school and an International Dance Competition Corp. Her personality was larger than life and her kind spirit helped many young performers along the way. She was generous to a fault. Danièle's joie de vivre was contagious and she enjoyed entertaining royally. As travelled and accomplished as Danièle was, she was always a down home girl from Quebec and her biggest pleasure in life were her grandchildren and her family. She remained the elegant grande dame to the end. Visitations will be held on Friday, March 16 between 1 and 4 p.m. and 5 to 7 p.m. Funeral Service will be held from 7 to 8 p.m. at MOUNT ROYAL FUNERAL COMPLEX 1297 CHEMIN DE LA FORET, OUTREMONT, QUEBEC H2V 2P9 (514 279-6540 (www.mountroyalcem.com) Flowers are gratefully accepted as are donations to the Cancer Research of the Jewish General Hospital.
