CHRISTIE, George McKeen
It is with great sadness that we announce that George, known as Tag, passed away peacefully at the Ste. Anne's Hospital on September 7, 2013. He is survived by wife of 61 years Nora, and his dear children, Lew (Elizabeth), Andy (Debby), Martha and David (Gail). He was Grandpa Tag to his grandchildren Michael (Annette), Ashley, Thomas, Kathryn, Andrew and Alexandra. He was Great Grandpa to Grayson and Avery. In his life, his family always came first, along with his home, baseball and hockey. He was born in Truro, Nova Scotia and was a proud alumnus of Queen's University. He served in WW2 as a pilot with the Fleet Air Arm of the Royal Navy. Heartfelt thanks to the Ste. Anne's Hospital for the loving and capable care given by all the staff. If desired, donations may be made to the Foundation of Ste. Anne's Hospital, 305 Boul. des Anciens- Combattants, Ste-Anne-de-Bellevue, P.Q., H9X 9Z9 or to Cedar Park United Church. A memorial service celebrating his life will be held at Cedar Park United Church, 204 Lakeview Avenue, Pointe-Claire, P.Q., H9S 4C5 on Friday, September 13th, 2013 at 3:30 P.M. He will forever live in our hearts.
