It is always sad to see the passing of an old friend. I knew Jim from summers at Sir John Lake, Lachute during the late 40's and early 50's. I also went to public and high school with Jim. I can remember Jim playing the chanter while in the Boys Pipe Band of the Black Watch Cadet Corps. Many, many years have past since I last saw Jim but still a memory from 50 years ago. May you rest in peace Jim and my sincerest condolences to your high school sweetheart, Elizabeth and your family.
