PICARD, Laurent
At the Institut Universitaire de Gériatrie de Montréal, at the age of 84 years, passed away Mr. Laurent Picard. He leaves to mourn his wife Thérèse Picard (born Germain), his three sons André (Francine Allaire), Marc and Denys, his grandchildren Jean-François, Stéphanie and Alexandra Picard, and also their mother, Renée Senneville. He also leaves his brother Guy Picard, his sisters-in- law Hélène and Raymonde, brother-in-law Claude, his cousins, nieces, nephews and friends. Graduated from Laval University and Harvard Business School, recipient of the Order of Canada, Mr. Picard devoted his life to public service, notably, as President of CBC/ Radio-Canada, and to teaching the Hautes Études Commerciales (HEC) and the School of Management of McGill University, as professor and dean. The family will receive condolences at Memoria-Alfred Dallaire Funeral Home, 1111 avenue Laurier Ouest, Outremont, on Thursday, August 30 from 5 to 10 pm and on Friday, August 31 from 2 to 5 pm and 7 to 10 pm.The Funeral will take place on Saturday Septembre 1st, at 2 pm, at the Dominicains Saint-Albert-le-Grand Chapel, 2715 Chemin Côte-Sainte-Catherine, in Montréal. The family would like to thank the staff of l'Institut Universitaire de Gériatrie de Montréal. Donations to the l'Institut de Gériatrie de Montréal foundation would be appreciated.
