BRIGHT, Dr. Pamela
1937 -2012
Passed away peacefully in Montreal on November 16, 2012 at the age of 75. Daughter of Phyllis McCarthy and the late Walter Bright, she leaves to mourn her beloved husband, Dr. Charles Kannengiesser, her Australian family, who will be represented at the funeral by her brothers John and Jim Bright and her cousin Terry McCarthy, her colleagues and students at Concordia University and numerous good friends. Pamela was a full professor in Concordia's Department of Theological Studies where she taught with enthusiasm and deep knowledge for 20 years. Along with teaching and working with graduate students, her research was her passion . D A funeral service will take place on Wednesday, November 21, 2012 at 2 p.m. at Loyola Chapel, 7141 Sherbrooke West. The family would like to thank the 5th floor Oncology Unit at St-Mary's Hospital, in particular Dr. Stern and Laura Delany, Social Worker for their professional and heartfelt care. Special thanks should also be addressed to the faculty, staff, students and alumni of the Department of Theological Studies. In lieu of flowers, donations to the Concordia University bursary in Dr. Bright's name would be appreciated.
