Pauline L'Abbé-Jones was born in Ottawa and died in Tacoma WA, USA. Preceded in death by her brother Maurice and her sister Fernande, survived by her brother Robert, her two sisters-in-law and ten nieces and nephews. When living in Québec, she was married to Henry W. Jones for twenty years. She then moved to the USA (CA and state of WA), where she met Donald Colclough who was her companion for nearly thirty years, until his passing in 2011. Don's daughter, Diane was by her side and took care of her up to her last day. Pauline was a gifted artist, best known for her work in fabric collages and had been active until the end. Her work was featured in many galleries and museums in both Canada and the United States. She was a courageous, dynamic, warm-hearted and humorous woman. She will be missed by all who knew her.
