Robert Brown September 14, 1926 - May 18, 2013 We are sad to announce the passing of Robert (Bob) Brown on Saturday May 18, 2013 peacefully, surrounded by his loving family, following a lengthy illness. Robert is predeceased by his first wife Helen nee Driver (2000) Bob is survived by his wife Annie, brothers Bill (Ann) and Ian (Joan). He leaves to mourn Annie and her family, his son Scott (Debbie) and daughter Bonnie (Yvan), grandchildren Jamie, Robin, Jessica and Jordan and many nieces and nephews.
Bob taught High School all his life and was proud to work in the Eastern Townships and then at John Rennie, Lindsay Place and Beaconsfield High Schools. He will be remembered for his skill at woodworking and drawing and by his many friends in the Circles and Squares Dance Club. Bob was a lifelong member of St. Columba Presbyterian Church and enjoyed building many items which were sold to raise funds for his church. Bob will be long remembered for his love of family, music and his sense of humor.
A cremation is planned. A memorial service will be held at a later date.
