It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of a dear husband, father, brother and uncle, Theodore Tzemopoulos, 67. Surrounded by his family, he passed away peacefully on February 17, 2013 at the Jewish General Hospital. Theodore was born in Lahanada, Greece, son of the late Dimos and Antonia Tzemopoulos. He is survived by his loving wife of 39 years, Josie; his daughter Antonia (Brian Greenberg); brother to Costa (Georgia), George; Billy (Soula) and sister Frini (Jimmy Theodossakos), the late Nick and Eugenia (Tom Robakis); as well as his nephews and nieces. Owner of Reuben's Restaurant, his enthusiasm for the food industry was demonstrated during his 37 years of hard work and dedication. His other devotion was his family; he will be missed dearly as he was a big inspiration in their daily lives. The family would like express a heartfelt thanks to Dr.Melnychuk, Dr. Sultanem, Dr. Zigby, as well as all the gracious nurses, staff and volunteers of the Radiation, Oncology Nursing, Palliative Care, and Intensive Care Unit. Visitation will be from 2 p.m. until 5 p.m., and 7 p.m. until 9 p.m. on Thursday, February 21, 2013 at Yves Légaré Funeral Complex, 33 rue Principale, Laval, H7X 3V5. Funeral services will be held at 11a.m. on Friday, February 22, 2013 at the St. Nicholas Greek Orthodox Church, 3780 Du Souvenir, Laval, H7V 1Y3. He will be laid to rest at the Notre- Dame-des-Neiges Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the Palliative Care Unit at the Jewish General Hospital.
