Peacefully at home, Trevor J. Phillips died in his 89th year. He leaves behind a loving family: his wife, Lois (Ingalls) of 59 years, three adult children and four grandchildren. He arrived in Canada from England in 1947, studied at Sir George Williams and MacDonald College. He taught public school at Lake of Two Mountains and Sorel, before continuing his studies at University of Connecticut. In 1963 until 1996, he taught Educational Philosophy at Bowling Green State University, Ohio, winning teacher awards more than once. He and Lois retired to South Surrey, BC where he enjoyed hiking, involvement in Third Age Learning, and travelling. Condolences may be offered at
