Professor Emeritus of Physics, McGill University and Fellow, Royal Society of Canada. Former Director, McGill Center for Northern Studies and Research. B'seivah tovah. He leaves to grieve his beloved wife Rose, dearest children Adrian, David, Louise and daughters-in-law Ruth and Vicky, and his adored and adoring grandchildren Isaac, Samuel, Debra, Ian, Julia, and Hayley. Son of the late David and Molly. Devoted brother of the late Sarah, Moe, Gertrude, Rose, Anne and Carl. Professor Langleben was globally recognized in his field. He was called upon to serve in numerous advisory and formative roles at the University and with multiple international institutions, societies and governments. The family is most grateful to the doctors, nurses and staff of 5 Main and the Oncology Clinic, St Mary's Hospital, and the doctors, nurses and staff of CCU/ 2Cardiac, 3 West and the Cardiology Department of the Jewish General Hospital for their devoted and tender care. Funeral service from Paperman and Sons, 3888 Jean Talon St W., on Tuesday, March 20 at 1:00 pm. Burial at Congregation Shaar Hashomayim Cemetery, 1250 Chemin de la Forêt. Shiva private.
