WWII Veteran – RCAF.
Surrounded by his loved ones on April 22, 2012 after a long and fruitful life, Jack has gone to his eternal rest. Devoted and much loved husband to Denise Jasmin for over 60 beautiful years. Proud father of Gary and his wife Ann Marie, Dale and her husband Luis. Adored grandpa to Julie, Stephanie (Adam), Justin (Sabrina), Amanda Rose (Ryan) and Paul. Great grandpa to Jason John. Devoted nephew and singing partner Kevie Fallon (and family), thank you for your friendship throughout the years. Sister-in-law Lise Dicola (Gerry) and brother-in-law Regent (Lorraine). He is survived by many nephews and nieces in Canada and the United States. John was born in Carbonear, Newfoundland on January 15, 1923 seventh child of eight to Olive Clarke and Arthur Osmond. He was the last surviving sibling to: Hayward, Edna, Helen, Kathleen, Thelma, Jean, Edna and Olive. The visitation and service will be held at Complexe Funéraire Alexandre Nicole, 96 Saint-Jean-Baptiste Boulevard, Châteauguay, QC J6K 3A6 (450) 699-9919 on April 27th, from 9:00 to 11:00 a.m. followed by a celebration of his life at 11:00 a.m. in the chapel. The family thanks the staff of the 5th floor Palliative unit for making his last days as comfortable as possible. To Dr.'s Bourgouin and Eid and all the nurses and staff at the Dialysis unit of St. Mary's Hospital over the last 5 years for your care and friendship. In lieu of flowers you may send a donation to the Dialysis Unit R-6307 of St. Mary's Hospital Center 3830 Lacombe Avenue, Montreal, Quebec H3T 1M5. A private family burial will take place later in Dunham Qc.
