PAMPEL, Gabriel
He left us on 13 November 2012
After 88 years amongst you, I say to you:
"Do not stand by my grave and weep.
I am not there, I do not sleep.
I am the thousand winds that blow.
I am the diamond glints on snow.
When you waken in the morning hush,
I am the soft uplifting rush
Of quiet birds in circled flight.
I am the soft stars that shine at night.
Do not stand at my grave and cry.
I am not there, I did not die."
God Bless you all.
Gaby served in the British Royal Navy during WWII, and was a member of the Canadian Legion, Branch 57.
The family wishes to thank Nova, CLSC and the Lakeshore Hospital personnel for bringing peace and joy to him. Private service. Donations may be made to the West Island Palliative Care Residence, Kirkland.
