HALL, Kenneth John
1941 - 2012
Ken died peacefully at home surrounded by his wife, son and daughter, late evening on Friday November 23rd.
Ken was born in Scotland and came to Quebec with his wife in 1967. He proudly worked in General Foods (LaSalle) and in Best Foods (Baie d'Urfé and Pointe-Claire). Ken was involved in the Sainte-Martine Minor Hockey Association and the Recreation Committee, as well as a respected member of the Hemmingford Golf Club.
A best friend to many, a mentor to others …
He is missed by his wife (Margaret), his son (David) and his daughter (Annik), and from Scotland, his brothers (David and predeceased Fraser), his mother-in-law (Mrs B), his sisters-in-law (Hilary and Mandy), his brother-in-law (Peter), his nieces and nephews (Ingie, Katherine, Andrew and Darroch), his god-daughter from Switzerland (Annik) and other relatives and friends.
Heartfelt thanks to the staff in the Oncology and Palliative units of the Anna Laberge Hospital as well as the staff in the Home care unit of the Châteauguay CLSC.
The family kindly asks that in lieu of flowers, donations in memory of Ken Hall be made to the Fondation Anna Laberge–Palliative Care or the Canadian Cancer Society–Relay for life Beauharnois.
Funeral service will be held at the Sainte- Martine Church, 122, Saint-Joseph Street, Sainte-Martine (Quebec) this Saturday December 1st at 1p.m.
