On December 6, 2012, Mr. Antoine Turmel passed away peacefully in Montreal at the
age of 94 years and seven months. Antoine Turmel was made an Officer of the Order of Canada in 1982, became Companion of the Canadian Business Hall of Fame in 1986, and holds an honorary doctorate from the University of Sherbrooke. He was also held in great esteem by many organizations and associations over his long and productive career in the Quebec food industry. Visitation will be held at ALFRED DALLAIRE MEMORIA (1111 Laurier Ouest) on Wednesday December 12th from 7pm to 10pm and on Thursday starting at 9am. The funerals will be held at 11am on Thursday December 13th in St-Viateur d'Outremont Church (Laurier corner Bloomfield).
