FRITZ, William (Bill)
June 21, 1915 - December 8, 2012.
Passed away peacefully at St. Mary's Hospital at the age of 97. Loving husband of the late Phyllis Isherwood for 54 years before her passing in January 2000. Loving father of Wayne (Kathleen), Bryan (Janice) and Kevin (Irene). Loving grandfather of Amanda, Stephen, Tania, Andrea and Spencer and great-granddaughter Parker Jane. Survived by sister-in-law Miriam, special nieces Joan and Brenda as well as many other relatives and dear friends. Bill enjoyed 32 wonderful years of retirement life, the first 20 with Phyllis where they travelled far and wide by car to their special places for nature walks and sightseeing. While her passing was devastating, he continued to devote himself to his family and after a time enjoyed many marvellous times with both old and new friends. Thanks to his many friends from the Bridge Club and the Val Royal Baptist Church for their kindness and fellowship. Very special thanks to the staff of the Dialysis Unit at St. Mary's Hospital for their care and devotion to him and the wonderful times he enjoyed so much during his visits. Visitation at Armstrong Funeral Home, (1640 Côte Vertu, St. Laurent) on Wednesday, December 12 from 5 to 9 p.m. The funeral service will be held in the Armstrong Chapel on Thursday, December 13 at 11 a.m., thence to the graveside prayers at Montreal Memorial Park. His family will then return to Armstrong Funeral Home for a reception in his memory as of 1 p.m.
