June 10, 1930 - January 9, 2013 LUNNY, Bob (Robert Emmett). Died peacefully of natural causes at Lachine Hospital in the presence of God at age 82. He was wearing his rosary and was with family members during his last hours. Son of the late John Raymond Lunny and Rose Eva Burns. Brother of Joan (Peter Wade); Peter; the late Jack (Verna) and Michael. Father of Debbie, Robert Emmett Jr. (Bobby), and Stephen (children of Lorinda Smith). Grandfather to Connor, Dillon, and Taiyo. Uncle of many nieces and nephews. From his early days at St. Leo's School in Westmount Bob was known for his penchant for sports and mischief. He loved to tell colourful tales of his days playing hockey for the Inkerman Rockets and Washington Lions with the likes of Gordie Howe. His photo is in the Hockey Hall of Fame (Amateur) in Toronto. He owned Bob Lunny Sporting Goods, Canadian Athletic Supplies and Contact One. Many NDGers worked for him in their high school and university days. Bob was well-known for his generosity, practical jokes, wild schemes and parties. He was a well-loved figure in the West End and will be missed by family and friends. In his last years, he was quieter but remained social, in contact with neighbours, family and friends, such as Winnie Smith.

FUNERAL at 3:30 the same day at Ascension of Our Lord, 375 Kitchener, corner Sherbrooke.
