October 7, 1918 - January 10, 2013 Douglas Clyde Darling, 94, passed away Thursday January 10th at St Mary's Hospital in Montreal Quebec.

He will be greatly missed by his wife of 64 years Elsie (McIntosh), sister Florence, his children Stephan, Paul (Marie) and Jill (Pierre); his two grandchildren Erika (Douglas) and Christine (Todd); and his two great-grandsons Alexandre and Andrew.

He was a strong, hardworking and dedicated man to his family and to his country serving in WWII. He had the ability to make everyone around him laugh right up until his final days. He lived a long and happy life and we are all grateful to have been a part of it. We love and miss you Gramps and we look forward to one day meeting again (but hopefully not too soon, as you would have said).

There will be a memorial held in the summer of 2013. Please contact the family for details.
