COLES, Maxwell
Proud Newfoundlander, veteran of WWII, skilled Navigator (Pathfinders), flying Lancaster Bombers, 40 missions over Germany with the RAF, survived against all odds, then joined the RCAF for more until war's end. Quiet, unassuming, curious and a gentle man, Maxie passed away at the age of 91 after a life well lived. Admired and loved by wife Maizie (deceased), sisters Emma Coles (Byrne), Peggy Mrazik (deceased) and brother Frank (deceased), brother-in-law George and many nieces and nephews. A special thanks to Gail who took such good care of Max to the very end. A celebration of Max's life will be announced.
