MATTEO, Donato
Passed away peacefully at the Jewish General Hospital Palliative Care Unit on February 11, 2013 at the age of 88, beloved husband of Grazia Capozzo. Devoted father of Rosa (Albino), Luigi (Antonella), Loretta (Tony), loving Nonno of Cynthia (Jay), Joseph (Georgia), Melissa, Daniel, Justin and Luca. Great-grandfather of Ben, Luke and Maria. He will be sadly missed by his dear brothers Giovanni (Vincenza), Pasquale (deceased Angela) and dear brother-in-law Sam (Nancy), sister-in-law Lydia (deceased Donato), nieces and nephews, family and friends. Visitation will be held at Yves Légaré on Thursday February 14, 2013 from 2 p.m. to 5 p.m. and 7 p.m. to 10 p.m. Funeral will be on Friday, 11 a.m. at St-John Bosco Church, 2510 Springland, Montreal. A very special thank you to the staff at the Palliative Care Unit at JGH for their heartfelt and compassionate care. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the JGH Palliative Care or Canadian Cancer Society.
