Peacefully passed at the Joseph Brant Memorial Hospital, Burlington, on Monday, February 11, 2013, in her 86th year. Loving mother to Patricia Sackhouse and Diane Szechenyi (John). Cherished grandmother to Tanya, Sydney, Graham and Peter. Dear sister of Trudi Van Tassell, Roma Van Tassell, Gwen Mackay and the late Joan Kraft. Predeceased by her husband Thomas Henry. Bernice will be sadly missed by family friend Gordon Haram. Cremation has taken place and a private service will be held in the spring. If desired, as an expression of sympathy, donations made to the Lung Association or the Heart and Stroke Foundation would be greatly appreciated by the family.
