Feb 6, 1924 - Feb 13, 2013 Phyllis passed away peacefully at St. Margaret's Centre on February 13th. She was born in Bridgewater Nova Scotia, the daughter of Cecil and Frances (Brooks) Mosher and stepdaughter of Hattie (Horton) Mosher. At 18 Phyllis enlisted in the Canadian Women's Army Corp and served for 8 years. During this time she made many wonderful friends. Phyllis worked in Montreal, Toronto and New York but always considered Montreal her home. In 1972 Phyllis joined the Business and Professional Women of Montreal and served as its president, as well as treasurer of the Quebec body and secretary of the Canadian BPW. She ardently worked to improve the status of women and participated in provincial and national conferences. Phyllis is survived by her brother Jim (Judy) Mosher and sister Ann (Donald) MacVicar of Nova Scotia and seven neices and nephews. She was predeceased by dear friend Jean Oliver. A service of interment will take place in the fall at Avondale Cemetery, Stratford, Ontario.
