Dorothy Jean Spencer
MOREHEAD, KY - Dorothy Jean Spencer, age 82, of Morehead, Kentucky, passed away Friday, March 14, 2014, at the Life Care Center in Morehead.
Born June 4, 1931, in Memphis, Tennessee, she was a daughter of the late Samuel and Grace Luna Moore.
Besides her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, French Preston Spencer; one son, Terrence Riddle; and two siblings, Jim Moore and Ruth Clayton.
Mrs. Spencer is survived by two sons, David Riddle of Foley, Alabama, and Richard Riddle of Morehead, Kentucky; two daughters, Deb Deleonardis of Austin, Texas, and Rosetta Riddle of Lorain, Ohio; three stepsons, Rick Spencer of Michigan, Mike Spencer of Kansas, and Randy Spencer of Ohio; 16 grandchildren; and 12 great grandchildren.
Graveside services will be conducted at 2 p.m. Saturday, March 22, 2014, at the Spencer Cemetery in Eastern, Kentucky, under the direction of Northcutt & Son Home for Funerals, Morehead, KY 40351.

I am very sorry to hear that my sweet next-door neighbor as left us. I always enjoyed my talks with Dot when we went out to get our papers or mail at the same time. Dot will be sorely missed on Berkshire Rd.
