BEDFORD - James R. "Rick" Lyons, 55, of Bedford, passed away August 29, 2013. He was the beloved husband of Susan (nee Schultz); loving father of Ashley and Alyssa; dearest grandfather of Gabriel and Ian; dear brother of Cathy (Richard) Dimacchia and Mark (Anne) Lyons, both of Lorain; and uncle of a nephew and several nieces.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Carroll and Delores Lyons.
Rick graduated from Lorain High School and obtained his degree in architecture from Ohio State University.
Friends received at The St. John Funeral Home, 923 Broadway, Bedford (one mile west of the Forbes-Broadway exit of I-271), Wednesday, September 4, from 10 to noon, where a closing service will take place noon followed by burial at Bedford Cemetery.
Although flowers are appreciated, the family suggests contributions to the American Diabetes Association.
