Mary Pivarnik Obituary

AVON - Mary Pivarnik (nee Revilak), 93, of Avon, died Sat., Dec 31, 2011 in Lorain. She was born Mar. 28, 1918 in Cleveland, and has lived in Avon for over 50 yrs.
She was employed by Higbee's Dept. Store, Cleveland, as a clerk and also in stock for over 10 yrs. She was a member of Holy Trinity Catholic Church, Avon, where she was a member of the Ladies Guild. She was a homemaker, and enjoyed gardening and reading.
She is survived by 2 daughters: Rosemarie Hessler of Avon and Patricia (David) Hammer of Lorain; 1 son: David (Marguerite) Pivarnik of Gautier, Mississippi; 6 grandchildren, 10 great-grandchildren; 2 sisters: Helen Revilak and Eileen Monoc, both of Brooklyn.
She was preceded in death by her beloved husband of 61 yrs., George P. in 2005, 2 sisters: Margaret and Ann; and 1 granddaughter: Melissa Marie Hammer.
Friends will be received Tues. 2-4 & 7-9 p.m. at the Misencik Funeral Home, 36363 Detroit Rd., Avon, where closing prayers will be Wed. 9:30 a.m., followed by a 10 a.m. mass at Holy Trinity Catholic Church, Avon. Interment will follow in Holy Trinity Cemetery, Detroit Rd., Avon.
Memorial contributions may be made to the Holy Trinity Educational Endowment Fund, 33601 Detroit Rd., Avon, OH 44011.
