Milford "Ed" Richardson BERLIN HEIGHTS – Milford "Ed" Richardson, 85, of Berlin Heights, died Sunday, April 13, 2014 at Specialty Hospital of Lorain after a short illness. He was born October 7, 1928 in Whitley Co. KY and moved to Ohio from Tennessee. He had been a Berlin Heights resident for the past 50 years moving from Amherst. Ed worked for Ford Motor Co, Lorain as a relief man for 36 years, retiring in 1988. He was a member of Firelands Baptist Church, Wakeman, East Townsend Masonic Lodge #322, Collins, the Grand Chapter of Royal Arch Masons of Ohio, James Ames Meacham Chapter #135, Milan, and the UAW #425 retirees. Ed enjoyed gardening, traveling, the Masonic Fraternity, spending time with his grandchildren and great-grandchildren and enjoyed riding his 4-wheeler in the mountains of Tennessee. He is survived by his sons, Curtis (Joann) Richardson of Florence Township, and Billy (Mary) Richardson of Brownhelm; daughter, Jewell Richardson of Florence Township; 7 grandchildren: Christina, Sandra, Heather, Bryan, Donna, Shawn, and Erika; 16 great grandchildren; 1 great-great grandchild; and a sisterr, Della Byrd of Groveland, FL. He was preceded in death by his wife, Etta Richardson in 2009; parents, Johnnie and Arena (nee Silcox) Richardson; brothers, Buford, Junior, and Arthur; and sisters, Ethel Douglas, Elsie Wakelee, Charlene Ford, Clara Waters, and Floetta Richardson. The family will receive friends on Thursday, April 17, 2014 from 4-8 pm where there will be a Masonic Service at 8 pm at the Riddle Funeral Home, 5345 South Street Vermilion OH. Funeral services will be Friday, April 18, 2014 at 11:00 am at the funeral home. The Reverend Bill Rowe will officiate. Interment will follow at Maple Grove Cemetery, Vermilion. Florence A Rotuno LORAIN – Florence A Rotuno (nee Adamczyk), 84, of Lorain, died Wednesday, April 16, 2014, at Elmcroft of Lorain after a lengthy illness. She was born October 14, 1929 in New Castle, PA, and had been a Vermilion area resident for the past 15 years moving from Wakeman. Florence had worked for Bell Telephone Co., New Castle, PA and had also assisted her husband, Louis Rotuno, at his Convenient Food Mart in Oberlin. She was a member of St. Mary Catholic Church, Vermilion. Her faith and family were the center of her life. She also enjoyed music, ceramics, reading, traveling, cooking and baking, and bowling. She is survived by her daughters, Claire (Kurt) Burger of Vermilion and Rosemary (Donald ) Johnson of Fairfield; sons, Mark L. Rotuno of Vermilion, Timothy L. (Jonelle) Rotuno of Elyria, and Charles (Kathy) Rotuno of Wooster; 15 grandchildren: Erica Sovie, Tricia Cozart, Julia Stanger, Angela Rotuno, Stephanie Rotuno, Clayton Rotuno, Monica Letterman, Zachary Rotuno, Alex Rotuno, Michelle Rotuno-Johnson, Michael Rotuno-Johnson, Matthew Rotuno-Johnson, Katelyn Rotuno, Theresa Rotuno, and Gregory Rotuno; 3 great grandchildren: Caroline Sovie, Adriania Stanger, and Emelia Stanger; sister, Irene Ryczaj and Jean Gawdyda both of New Castle; and brothers, Theodore Adamczyk of New Castle, Julian Adamczyk of New Castle, and Max Adamczyk of Canton. She was preceded in death by her husband, Louis E. Rotuno Sr. in 1996, son, Louis E. Rotuno Jr. in 2007, parents, John and Rose (nee Babski) Adamczyk, sisters, Helen Duda, Bernice Witkowski, and Josephine Pivovar, and brother, John Adamczyk. The family will receive friends on Monday, April 21, 2014 from 4-8 pm at the Riddle Funeral Home, 5345 South Street Vermilion OH. Prayer will be at the funeral home on Tuesday, April 22, 2014 at 10:30 am followed by an 11:00 am Mass of Christian Burial at St. Mary Catholic Church, 731 Exchange St., Vermilion. The Reverend Ron Brickner will officiate. Interment will follow at Saint Joseph Catholic Cemetery, Amherst.
