Boldman, Donald R*  
AVON LAKE – Donald R. Boldman, 80 of Avon Lake, passed away, Monday, July 27, 2015 at Ames Hospice House, Westlake. Mr. Boldman was born June 14, 1935 in Apple Creek, OH and lived in Avon Lake the past 41 years. Donald was a graduate of the University of Cincinnati with a Bachelor of Science degree in Aeronautical Engineering and worked at the NASA Glenn Research Facility, Cleveland for 40 years retiring in 1994. Donald was a member of the Avon Lake Boat Club and served as Treasurer for many years. His hobbies and interests included classic cars, fishing, and a love of animals and the outdoors. Donald is survived by his daughter Susan D. Rao (Peter) of Medina and brother Rev. Ronald D. Boldman (Rosalyn) of Manchester, MI. He is preceded in death by his wife of 50 years Dianne F. (nee Calmer) who passed away September 21, 2011. He is also preceded in death by his parents Martin W. and Helen J. (nee Saurer) Boldman. Friends may call at the Busch Funeral Home 163 Avon-Belden Rd., Avon Lake, Thursday, from 6:00-8:00pm and Friday from 10:00-11:00am. The funeral service will be at the funeral home, Friday July 31 at 11:00am. Busch Certified Celebrant Barbara Habecker will officiate. Interment will follow at Eaton Twp., Butternut Ridge Cemetery. Bollin, Randall Scott* - St. Petersburg  
ST. PETERSBURG, FL-Randall Scott Bollin, 45 years of age, and a resident of St. Petersburg, Florida, passed away Sunday, July 26, 2015, at Northside Hospital in Largo, Florida, following a sudden illness. He was born February 22, 1970 in Amherst, Ohio. Randy was a lifetime resident of South Amherst before moving to Florida where he resided for the last two years. He attended Lorain County JVS in Oberlin. Randy was employed at ALCO Manufacturing in Elyria at the age of 17 when it was just a two car garage, before retiring due to his disability. He was a member of the Veterans of Foreign War in Florida. Randy was known to be a very generous and caring man who loved his family. He loved his best friend, his dog Brutus. Randy enjoyed riding his Harley Davidson motorcycle. He also loved music especially playing the guitar. Survivors include his wife of three years Wendy Claire Bollin (nee: Williamson); his sons Brandon Bollin (Ashley), Justin Bollin both of Lorain, Austin Miller of South Amherst and Austin Metz of St. Petersburg, Florida; his grandchild Lacie Bollin; his brothers James Bollin (Donna) of Grafton, West Virginia, Danny Bollin (Mary Ann) of Amherst, Joey Bollin (Bobbie) of Morrisville, Indiana, Terry Bollin (Sue) of Wooster, Chris Bollin of Amherst; his sisters Kathy Johnson of South Amherst, Brenda Sowders of Amherst; his mother and father in law John and Sandy Williamson of New York; his sister in law Melody (Aron) Shadley of Vermilion; and many nieces and nephews and cousins. He was preceded in death by his brother Bobby in 1982; his brother in law Cash Johnson in 2011 and his parents James Carmel and Gladys Bollin (nee: Phillips). Friends may call Saturday, August 1, 2015, from 10:00 am until the funeral service at 12:00 at the Old Fashion Grace Baptist; 500 W. Main Street, South Amherst. The Rev. Farrell Keith, pastor, will officiate. Burial will follow at Evergreen Cemetery, South Amherst. The family suggests that memorial contributions be made to Old Fashion Grace Baptist Church; 500 W. Brumelis, Irene E*  
LORAIN – Irene E. Brumelis, (nee Strauts/Stearns), age 102, of Lorain, passed away on the evening of Thursday July 23, 2015 while a resident of the Elmcroft of Lorain. She was born in Moscow, Russia on March 1, 1913 and was raised in Latvia. She immigrated to the United States in 1950 from Germany. Irene was employed as a seamstress for the Weitz Clothing Company in Lorain for many years; she later served as the clothing department manager at Ontario's. Mrs. Brumelis enjoyed oil painting and crocheting in her free time. She also liked dogs and displayed a particular fondness for French Poodles and Yorkshire Terriers. She is survived by her son Andris Brumelis (Ellen) of Lorain, by granddaughters Debra Skolnicki (Steve) or Vermilion and Tricia Brumelis of Lorain, along with great grandchildren Matthew and Brittany Skolnicki. Irene was preceded in death by her husband Rudolfs Brumelis in 1946, by her parents Theodore and Vera (nee Orenius) Strauts (Stearns) and by her brother Richard Stearns. Visitation will be Friday from 10:00 a.m. until the time of services at 11:00 a.m. in the Gluvna-Shimo-Hromada Funeral Chapel, 3224 Broadway Avenue, Lorain. Reverend Philip E. Kunz, pastor of St. John's United Church of Christ will officiate. Burial will follow in Ridge Hill Memorial Park. The family encourages memorial contributions in Irene's memory to St. John's U.C.C. – 715 Reid Avenue, Lorain, OH 44052.
