Wood, Eleanor H.*  
NORTH RIDGEVILLE – Eleanor H. Wood (nee Carpenter), 86, a long-time resident of North Ridgeville, passed away Wednesday May 20, 2015 at Avon Oaks Nursing Home in Avon after a long battle with Parkinson's Disease. She was born June 23, 1928 in Elyria and was raised in North Ridgeville. Mrs. Wood was a 1946 graduate of North Ridgeville High School. She then went to Cleveland Business School (Comptometer School) for two years. She worked in the office at General Motors in Elyria from 1947 to 1949. She later went to work in the accounts receivable department of Orthopedic Services in Elyria and retired from there in 1988. During WWII she served as a messenger for the office of Civilian Defense. Mrs. Wood also enjoyed being a homemaker and raising her six children. Mrs. Wood was an active member for 70 years of First Congregational United Church of Christ in North Ridgeville. She enjoyed gardening, traveling, and spending time with her family. She is survived by; four daughters, Karen Dreger (Roy) of Avon, Cheryl Bertonaschi (Vince) of Cleveland, Annette Schwartz (Larry, deceased) of Avon and Kathleen Wood of FL; two sons, Kenneth Wood (Terry) of Avon and David Wood (Ginny) of Nova; 13 grandchildren and 11 great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by; her husband, James W. Wood in 1996; by her parents, Harold and Hazel (nee Montague) Carpenter; by two sisters, Barbara Eicher and Eloise Bowman; and by one brother, Donald Carpenter. The family will receive friends on Friday May 22, 2015 from 4 to 8pm at the Liston Funeral Home, 36403 Center Ridge Rd., (at Stoney Ridge Rd.), North Ridgeville. The funeral service will be Saturday May 23, 2015 at 11:00am at First Congregational United Church of Christ, 36363 Center Ridge Rd., North Ridgeville. Rev. Arik Borstad, pastor, will officiate. Burial will be private at Ridgeville Cemetery in North Ridgeville. The family requests that memorial contributions be made to First Congregational Untied Church of Christ in North Ridgeville. William R. Wtulich, Sr., age 64; beloved husband of Joy A. (nee Watkinson); father of Diane Castle (Mike), Sherri Smith and William R. Jr. (Angela); grandfather of Kaitlyn, Elliott, William III, Kelsey, Danielle, Taylor, Kara, Kyle and Shawn; son of the late Patricia (nee Looby) and Alexander Wtulich; brother of Renee Merker and Raymond; uncle and great uncle of many. Mr. Wtulich was a U. S. Army veteran-Vietnam and was retired from Ford Motor Co. Brook Park. Passed away May 19, 2015. Funeral Mass Saturday, May 23, St. Thomas the Apostle Church (715 Harris Rd.
