LORAIN – Erma L. Huddleston, nee Vann, 85, of Lorain, Ohio passed away Monday June 17, 2014 in Mercy Regional Medical Center following a brief illness.
Mrs. Huddleston was born November 16, 1928 in Vandale, Arkansas and had lived in Lorain for over 60 years. Mrs. Huddleston retired from Lorain Product after 20 year of service. She was a former member of Second Baptist Church of Lorain. She was also an Eastern Star. She was enjoyed fishing, sewing, ceramics and traveling.
Erma will be sadly missed by her daughter Alma Miller of Southfield, MI; three sisters Blondell Ferrell , Dorothy Liggons both of Chicago ,IL., and Carolyn Chavis of Atlanta, GA., two brothers Theo Vann of Atlanta ,GA, and Clifford Futch of PA., many nieces and nephews and a host of other loving relatives and friends.
Mrs. Huddleston was preceded in death by her husband Hershel Huddleston, her parents Theo Vann and Ruth Norsworthy, her brother Johnnie Vann and her sister Barbara Long.
Visitation will be held Monday, June 23, 2014 from 11:00AM until time of service at 12:00PM at Brown-Robinson Funeral Home, 2652 Broadway in Lorain with Bishop Dennis Johnson, officiating .Burial will be in Ridge Hill Memorial Park in Amherst.
