James S. Caudill(1945-2013)

James S. Caudill, age 67 and a resident of Lorain, died Friday, January 11, 2013 at New Life Hospice of St. Joseph.
He was born July 8, 1945 in Eoila, Kentucky, to the late Monroe and Annie (nee Moore) Caudill. James has resided in Lorain for the past 40 years. He enjoyed mechanics, hunting, country music, and most importantly, spending time with his grandchildren.
James was a member of the Open Hearth Club.
Survivors include nine children; Yvette, Norman, and Marie, all of Michigan, Becky (Mark) McMillan and David, both of Willard, Vertie (Robert) Woods, Mary Jane, Tammy, and Robert, all of Lorain; 25 grandchildren; a brother Estill of Sycomore, two sisters, Sue Gayheart of Willard and Rosemary Blizzard of Baltimore, Maryland, and his former wife Mary C. (nee Adkins) Caudill.
In addition to his parents, James was preceded in death by his son Bruce R., a brother Frank, and his sister Polly Ann Stallard.
Family will receive friends at the Garland-Misencik Funeral Home, 851 Park Avenue, Amherst, Sunday from 2 to 4 p.m. and 6 to 8 p.m. time of service. Donald Jordan will officiate the service.
