Paul W. Kepic
AVON LAKE – Paul W. Kepic, 87, of Avon Lake, died Thurs., May 15, 2014, at the Ohio Veterans Home, Sandusky. He was born Nov. 3, 1926 in Lore City, Ohio, and has lived in Avon Lake since 1956, moving from Lakewood. During WW II, he served in the Army-Air-Force as a Medic. He was a self-employed landscaper in a business he ran with his twin brother, Pete, for over 40 yrs., known on Cleveland's west side as Kepic Bros. Landscaping. He was a member of St. Joseph Catholic Church, Avon Lake, and also a lifetime member of the Knights Of Columbus, Fr. Ragan Council, Avon.
He is survived by 2 sons: David P. (Carolynn) Kepic of Lorain, and Robert J. (Jamey) Kepic of Avon Lake; 4 Grandchildren and 1 Great-Granddaughter; 1 brother: George Kepic; uncle to many.
He was preceded in death by his wife: Eleanor M. (nee Sholtis); and siblings: twin-brother: Pete, and Joseph, Martin, Michael, John, and sister: Ann.
Friends will be received Sunday 2-6 p.m. at the Misencik Funeral Home, 36363 Detroit Road, Avon, where closing prayers will be Monday 9:15 a.m., followed by a 10 a.m. mass at St. Joseph Catholic Church, Avon Lake. Interment will follow in Resthaven Memory Gardens, Avon.
