Terry Allan Ball
DAYTON - Terry Allan Ball, Sr., 70, of Dayton, formerly of Lorain, passed away on Monday, December 31, 2012 in Dayton following a short illness.
He was born on July 15, 1942 in Masontown, W. Va. and honorably served in the U.S. Navy
from 1961 to 1966. He worked as an electrician for forty years and was a member of the IBEW Local 82 union. He was also a licensed pilot who enjoyed traveling and working on cars.
Terry is survived by a daughter, Dede (Jon) Jessel of Wakeman; a son, Terry Ball Jr. of Elyria; two brothers, David Ball of Texas and Gary Ball of Dayton; a sister, Susan Sego of Florida; 6 grandchildren and 5 great grandchildren; and a host of other relatives and friends.
He was preceded in death by a son, Richard Ball (2008); his parents, William Ball and Marion Ball (nee Fullmer); a brother, Jerome "Jerry" Ball; and two sisters, Loraine Riley and Carol Rogers (2012).
Friends may call Monday, January 7, 2013 from 11a.m. until time of service at Noon at Brown-Robinson Funeral Home, 2652 Broadway Ave, Lorain, OH 44052. Pastor Charles Keesee of Midway Baptist Church of Elyria will officiate. Burial with military honors will follow at Evergreen Cemetery, South Amherst.
