Yolanda M. “Yo-Yo” Austin HUNTSVILLE, Ala. — Yolanda M. “Yo-Yo” Austin, 43, passed away suddenly in Huntsville, AL on Tuesday, May 14, 2013. Yolanda was born on Thursday, January 21, 1970 in Elyria, Ohio. She resided in Lorain most of her life. Yolanda was a graduate of Southview High School class of 1988. She was an LCCC graduate with an associate degree in Political Science. Yolanda was a faithful volunteer for Boys &Girls Club of Lorain and the Haven Center. She also internship with Lorain County Urban League. Yolanda professed her faith in Christ under the leadership of Bishop F.E. Perry, Cathedral Church of Christ in 1995. She leaves to cherish her memory her mother, Paula Delaine; sisters, Antoinette and Carla Delaine all of Lorain; brothers, Samuel Delaine, Jr. of Lorain, Carl Delaine of Atlanta, GA.; and step-brother Nicholas Burton of Elyria; aunt Lula B. Lewis of Atlanta, GA; and a host of aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. She was preceded in death by the three men in her life: Her biological father Charles Davis; and beloved father, who raised and cared for her, whom she loved dearly, Samuel Delanie Sr.; and her adopted father Josh Burton. Visitation will be on Wednesday, May 22, 2013, at 10:00 a.m. and service at 12 NOON at Compassion Baptist Church 520 W. 22nd Street, Lorain. Rev. J.L. Williams, Pastor and Overseer Steve Robinson of City Deliverance Church will officiate. Burial will follow at Ridge Hill Memorial Park, Amherst. Memorial contributions can be made to the
