Kimberly Whitmore Obituary

Kimberly J. Whitmore (nee Daniels) age 47 and a resident of Brownhelm Township, died Tuesday, January 31, 2012 at St. John Medical Center, Westlake, after a sudden illness.
She was born in Amherst, April 16, 1964 to the late Edward D. Daniels and Patricia A. (nee Burnworth) Daniels. She was raised in Amherst and attended Marion L Steele High School where she was a member of the Class of 1982.
Kimberly married Joel J. Whitmore June 25, 1982 and together they had a daughter Sarah, who was Kimberly's pride and joy. She was a homemaker who enjoyed outdoor activities, especially flower and vegetable gardening.
Survivors include her husband of 29 years Joel J. Whitmore of Brownhelm, her daughter Sarah Wilson of Beaufort, South Carolina, three grandchildren, her mother Patricia Daniels of Coshocton, and her brother Edward D. (wife Patti) Daniels of Fresno.
She was preceded in death by her father Edward D. Daniels (2009) and her sister Theresa M. Thompson (2008).
Family will receive friends at the Garland-Misencik Funeral Home, 851 Park Avenue, Amherst, Thursday, 2 - 4 and 6 - 8 p.m. The funeral service will be 11 a.m. Friday at the funeral home followed by burial in Brownhelm Cemetery, Vermilion.
Memorials in Kimberly's name may be made to the Garland-Misencik Funeral Home.
