VERMILION - David Lawrence Hartle, 59, of Vermilion, died Friday, March 21, 2014, at St. Vincent Mercy Medical Center after a lengthy illness. |
David was born January 28, 1955, in Johnstown, Pa., he had been a Vermilion resident for the past 49 years moving from Pennsylvania. .
David worked for Ford Motor Company, Lorain as an assembler for 20 years retiring in 1996.
He was a member of St. Mary Catholic Church, Vermilion and enjoyed bird watching and fishing.
He is survived by his wife of eight years, Betty (nee Queer) Hartle; brothers, Gene Hartle of Vermilion, Bob (Judy) Hartle of Vermilion, Ron (Goldie ) Hartle of Tenn., Paul (Marty) Hartle of Vermilion, and Tom (Connie) Hartle of Vermilion; sister, Lucy Roberts of GA; step-daughters, Susan Gregor of Virginia and Debbie Becote of Lorain; seven grandchildren; 13 great-grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Eugene and Carmelita (nee Anstead) Hartle
