James C. Cannon SHEFFIELD LAKE —James C. Cannon, 65 of Sheffield Lake, formerly of Sheffield passed away, suddenly, Monday, April 15, 2013 at EMH Regional Medical Center. He was born January 22, 1948 in Cleveland. Mr. Cannon was a 1966 graduate of Brookside High School. He worked for US Steel, Lorain and Tappan and for the past 29 years had worked as a special fabricator for Invacare, Elyria. Mr. Cannon was a member of VFW Post 8686, Sheffield Lake and raced cars at Norwalk Raceway. He also enjoyed fishing and boating. Mr. Cannon is survived by his wife of 38 years, Marge (nee Black). He is also survived by children Kenneth (Arlene) of Virginia Beach, VA; Michael (Debbie) of Lorain, Lisa Cannon-Hicks of Amherst and Christopher (Cheryl) of Avon Lake. Other survivors include 6 grandchildren and a sister Marina Latiff of Germany. He is preceded in death by his parents Charles J. and Irene (nee Zborela) Cannon. Friends may call one hour prior to the 3:00 p.m. Memorial Service, Saturday, April 20 at the Busch Funeral Home, 163 Avon-Belden Rd., Avon Lake. Pastor Gary Lunsford, a friend of the family will officiate.
