John "Korky" grew up in Lorain, Ohio. He worked at the Ford Motor Company while earning a bachelor's degree at Baldwin Wallace College. He went on to earn a PhD in chemistry from
Ohio State University
. He was one of Ohio State football team's biggest fans for the rest of his life.
John enjoyed a 41 year career as a research and development chemist at BF Goodrich/Noveon/Lubrizol. He was a proud Romanian and enjoyed European food and culture.
A life-long dream was fulfilled last fall when John and Susan took a European riverboat cruise down the Danube River that ended in Romania.
John was a kind, gentle and intelligent man who touched all of our lives, and was loved and respected by everyone he met. He will be honored and celebrated at a mass and reception at St. Mary's Church, 309 W. 7th Street, Lorain, OH 44052, at 10:00 A.M. on Friday, April 26th.
