LORAIN - Robert Lee Brown, 68, of Lorain, Ohio passed away Wednesday, September 25, 2013 Mercy Regional Medical Center unexpectedly.
Mr. Brown was born October 10, 1944 in Dublin, Georgia and had lived in Lorain for over 42 years.
He was a U.S. Army veteran of the Vietnam War.
He retired from the Lorain Ford Plant. He was a member of the UAW local 425.
He enjoyed fishing, gardening and watching cowboy movies.
He will be sadly missed by his daughters Chelesa Brown, Brittney Trath, Shelia Fryson and Shalonda (Willie) Jackson, sons Jeffery (Tonya) Wright, and Michael (Angel) Brown; 11 grandchildren, 5 great grandchildren; one brother Carlton Brown; sisters Mary Carswell, and Barbara Winham, and many nieces and nephews and a host of other loving relatives and friends.
Mr. Brown was preceded in death by his wife Lorena (nee Ewing) Brown, his parents J.G. and Elnora Brown, daughter Andrea Robinson, son Christopher Cobb, sisters Katie Mae Brown, and Estella Davis, brothers Thomas Brown, Dorsey Brown, and Zeblun Lamm.
Visitation will be held Friday, October 4, 2013 from 10:00 AM until time of service at 11:00 AM at Brown-Robinson Funeral Home, 2652 Broadway in Lorain, Ohio.
Burial will be in Ohio Western Reserve National Cemetery in Rittman.
