Carletta Y. McLin Obituary
LORAIN - Carletta Y. McLin, 42, of Lorain, Ohio went home to be with the Lord on Tuesday, December 27, 2011 at Mercy Hospital in Lorain, Ohio following a sudden illness.
She was born in Bay Village on April 18, 1969 and was a graduate of Admiral King High School class of 1987, and she was also a graduate of LCCC class of 1995 graduating with a degree in Nursing, working at West Bay Health Care and Westlake Health Care. She was a member of Mt. Calvary Missionary Baptist Church of Lorain, Ohio.
She enjoyed cooking, listening to music, reading her Bible, and spending time with her grandchildren, family and friends.
She will be sadly missed by her daughters: Ashley (James) Branson, Hillary Payne, Jasmine Payne, Christiaan McLin-Cole all of Lorain; grandchildren: Jade and Elias Branson both of Lorain; maternal grandmother: Elenora Mastin of Lorain; step-father: William Gordon of Lorain; sisters: Lisa Carr, Patricia Barnes, Carol Loveyjoy, Resna Boyd all of Alabama, Marion Jackson of Elyria; brothers: Christopher McLin of Lorain, Sean McLin of Elyria; and a host of nieces, nephews other relatives and friends.
She was preceded in death by her mother Marie McLin
Friends may call Tuesday, January 3, 2012 from 7 p.m. until 9 p.m. in the Carter Funeral Homes, Inc. Chapel 3001 Elyria Avenue, Lorain, Ohio. Services will be on Wednesday, January 4, 2012 at 11 a.m. in the Shiloh Missionary Baptist Church 3900 Clifton Avenue, Lorain, Ohio at 11 a.m. where Elder James Branson, assistant Minister of Greater Christ Temple Church in Elyria, Ohio, will officiate services. Burial to follow immediately in Elmwood Cemetery, Lorain, Ohio.
