GRAFTON - Charles Joseph Hobar, 89, of Grafton, passed away August 24, 2013 at EMH Healthcare Center.
He was a WWII Navy Veteran and a lifelong resident of Lorain County.
He was the beloved husband of 59 years of Wanda (nee Blackert); loving father of Bob (Evelyn) Hobar, Brenda (Wynn) Gerber, Ron (Linda) Hobar and Karen (Tim) Schaffner and the late Carla and Carol; dear grandfather of 8, great grandfather of 10 and great great grandfather of 2; loving brother of Frances Hobor, Bernadette Steadman, Dorothy Hobar, Marcella Turton and the late Edward Hobor.
Friends will be received Tuesday, August 27, 2013 from 4 to 8 p.m. at the Liston Funeral Home, 36403 Center Ridge Rd., North Ridgeville. Funeral services will be Wednesday, at 11:00 a.m. at Midview Baptist Church, 36710 W. Royalton Rd. (Route 82), Grafton. Burial in Ridge Hill Memorial Park.
