David Charles Flanders, 55 years of age, fell asleep in death on Saturday morning December 29, 2012.
He was born on June 20, 1957 and was a lifelong resident of Lorain, Ohio. He graduated from Lorain High School he then went on to serve in the U.S. Military.
David also earned a BS in Accounting, a MBA in Business Administration and was pursuing a DBA in Business Administration from University of Phoenix in Arizona.
David enjoyed playing the bass guitar, chess, basketball and football, and loved fixing cars. He worked on the assembly line at Ford Motor Company and later performed as Office Manager for industrial contractors, Norris Brothers Co. in Lorain and Safway Scaffolding in Cleveland, Ohio.
David leaves behind his mother; Dorothy Flanders of Lorain; daughter Demetris C. Flanders of Birmingham Alabama, Sons; David Flanders of Oberlin, Edward Flanders of Lorain; Brothers Dwight C. (Roberta) Flanders of Cleveland and Duane L. Flanders of Lorain 13 grandchildren and a host of other family members and friends.
He was preceded in death by his father; Clarence Iry Flanders Jr. and Brother; C. Tyrone Flanders.
Friends may call Saturday January 5, 2013 in the Carter Funeral Home Chapel 3001 Elyria Ave. Lorain Ohio. 10:30 a.m. until time of service at 11:00 a.m. Brother Robert Parks Of Jehovah's Witness Lorain South Congregation 2330 East Skyline Drive, Lorain will give words of comfort.
