Dolores M. Myers NEW LONDON — Dolores M. (nee Smith) Myers, 83, of New London, died peacefully May 14, 2013. She was born on March 30, 1930, in McKeesport, Pa., to the late Edmund and Gladys (nee Williams) Smith. She graduated from Lorain High School and worked at Lorain National Bank for over 20 years as a new accounts clerk. Dolores was a member of the New London United Methodist Church and the Eastern Star for over 50 years. She loved to read and dedicated many hours helping school age children to read. Dolores enjoyed square dancing and cherished time spent with her family over the last few years. She also cherished her faithful companions, Baby, Bozo and her dog, Dukie. Survived by her beloved daughter, DeEtta M. (Brad) Hale of New London; grandchildren, Trisha (Terry) Cypher, Ben (Sarah) Harrison, Jon (Amanda) Harrison, Maelissa Hale, Brandy Marriott and Dennis Yahnke; great grandchildren, Ryan Cypher, Noelle Cypher, Wyatt Harrison, Madielyn Harrison, Oliver Harrison, Landon Harrison, Braylon Harrison and Brooklyn Mariott; sisters, Eileen (John) Evangelisti, Gladys (Gilbert) Olah and Frances (Mike) Basilone. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her daughter, Denise M. Yahnke and sister, Gerri Zimmerman. Visitation Friday, May 17th from 11 a.m. until the 1 p.m. service at Eastman Funeral Home, 200 W. Main St., New London with Rev. Ben Black officiating.
