George "Junior" Isaacs
WAKEMAN - George "Junior" Isaacs, 79 Years, 7 months and 9 Days, of Wakeman, formerly of Kentucky, passed away Tuesday, March 18, 2014 at his sister's home in Avon Lake following a battle with Cancer.
Isaacs was born August 9, 1934 in Deane, Kentucky and had worked as a coal miner. He was a member of the Baptist church and the United Mine Workers Union. In his spare time he enjoyed farming.
Junior is survived by a son Kenith Isaacs of Topmost, Kentucky, 9 grandchildren and 8 great grandchildren. Other survivors include brother Conard Isaacs (Norma) of Paintsville, Kentucky and Geneva Nadasdi (Louis) of Avon Lake.
He is preceded in death by his wife Julia (nee Childress), Parents Richard and Rinda (nee Yonts) Isaac, daughter Elaine Jordon and sons Ricky, Clay, Timmy and Byron and daughter-in-law Vicky Isaacs. He is also preceded in death five brothers and a sister.
Friends may call at the Busch Funeral Home, 32000 Detroit Rd., Avon, Friday, March 21 from 2-4 and 6-9pm. The funeral service will be at the funeral home Saturday at 11:00am. Interment will follow in Wakeman Cemetery. www.buschcares.com 440-937-6175
