LORAIN - Kenji Je'meel Jackson, 35, of Lorain passed away unexpectedly on February 16, 2014.
He was born in Sandusky Ohio, on December 12, 1978 living most of his life in Lorain.
He was a graduate of Admiral King High School class of 2000 and employed at Murray Ridge workshop as an assembler in Lorain.
Kenji was a former member of Original Glorious Apostolic Church of Elyria and a member of Freedom House Church of Amherst Ohio, were he was a friendly greeter and knew no stranger.
He enjoyed television game show's Wheel of Fortune, Jeopardy and bowling. He will be sadly missed by his parents Lavon and Bernadette Jackson of Lorain, his mother
Albertine P. Springer (nee) Lemons, of Lorain, Brother Jason L. Jackson of Lorain and Paternal grandmother Gertrude Jackson of Sandusky Ohio and a host of aunts, uncles, cousins and other relatives.
He was preceded in death by paternal grandfather Furman F. Jackson Paternal Aunt Fay C. Jackson, Maternal grandfather George G. Lemons, Maternal grandmother Hazel C. Lemons, Cousin James Harris.
Friends may call Monday February 24, 2014 10a.m until time of service at 12 noon in the Original Glorious Apostolic Church 995 Foster Ave. Elyria, Pastor Doris Williams will be officiating and Pastor Paul Gonzalez of Freedom House Church Amherst will be the eulogist. Burial will be in Elmwood Cemetery, Lorain.
