LORAIN - Nettie D. Duckson "Nee" Geiger 74 of Lorain went home to be with the Lord on Friday December 2, 2011 in the New Life Hospice Center in Lorain, following a lengthy illness.
She was born in Columbia South Carolina, coming to Lorain 51 years ago. She was employed as a Nursing Assistant for Carter Nursing Home in Oberlin, and was a Home Maker. She was a member of Call Out Church Of The Almighty God in Elyria, and was also a member of the Order Of Eastern Star's She enjoyed Cross word puzzles, Bingo, Cooking, Fishing and Gardening.
She is survived by her son Jerry Geiger of Lorain, sister Linda Thomas of Lorain, brother Carl Quattlebaum of Lorain, 10 grandchildren, 54 great grandchildren and 13 great great grandchildren. Host of nieces, nephews, cousins and other relatives.
She was preceded in death by her Husband James Duckson, daughter Cassandra Geiger and Edna Geiger, son Cordell Geiger Sr. and grandson Jeffery Geiger.
Friends may call Thursday December 8, 2011 from 10am until time of service at 11am in the Call Out Church Of The Almighty God 7809 West River Rd Elyria, Ohio where the Pastor Willie J. Cooper will officiate. Burial will be in Elmwood Cemetery.
